Important information and production schedule on screens at Afeer
In November 2023, Afeer's brand new building on the Winschoter Hogebrug was put into use. Afeer is the social development company of the municipalities of Oldambt, Pekela and Westerwolde. In the new building, Afeer uses Spark Narrowcasting to display important information and production planning, with the aim of getting the best possible return from the screens.

Afeer uses different screens of varying sizes at various locations, displaying information from the training and education agenda, job vacancies and house rules to news and instructional videos. In addition, Afeer pays attention on its screens to awareness in the areas of energy consumption and health & vitality. Afeer also benefits from the option to add QR codes to slides, allowing people to easily access more information on key topics on the website.
Linking vPlan
The production department has large-format screens on which clear work instructions are displayed. There is also a link to vPlan, so that an order summary is retrieved from each department and displayed on the screens. In this way, it is clear to employees what is on the schedule.
"Since the beginning of 2024, we have hung a screen in every production department with Spark Narrowcasting linked to it. In combination with vPlan (production planning) we can share our planning with the department. Employees can also follow the progress of the current order. They have live insight into the orders. Besides the planning, we also show the absence figures and the turnover we have realized together. In short, it is really an enrichment for Afeer."
"It looks beautiful, completely designed in our own corporate style, and it is practical to use. The option to add a QR code in a super easy way is also very handy. If the reader wants to know more as a result of the message on the screen, he very easily scans the QR code and is immediately taken to our website where he can find more information."
