DC Terra optimizes educational communication with Spark Narrowcasting
DC Terra has chosen to deploy Spark Narrowcasting at multiple locations to efficiently keep students informed of timetable changes. An integration with timetabling software Zermelo allows the schools to effectively communicate timetable changes via information screens.

Terra and Drenthe College have merged to form DC Terra, and to support this growth and renewal, screens have been installed at all DC Terra's VO schools in Groningen, Friesland and Drenthe.
The screens provide real-time information, such as schedule changes, important announcements and general school information.
As a result, students, staff and visitors always stay well informed about important information.
"As of the 2024-2025 school year, the use of cell phones is no longer allowed in secondary schools. The challenge was to inform students about their timetable changes in an alternative way. After considering several options, supplier Spark Narrowcasting was invited for a meeting. It quickly became clear that they could meet our needs. An additional advantage is that we facilitate the assignment for all branches together. This is not only more efficient but also results in considerable cost savings."
