Afeer in brief
Afeer is the social development company of the municipalities of Oldambt, Pekela and Westerwolde. People who find it difficult or impossible to get a job themselves are helped by Afeer. Afeer also organizes daily work for employees with disabilities. Afeer is committed to an inclusive labor market and builds bridges between government and business.

Project
Scattered throughout various Afeer locations are screens of varying sizes, all carefully placed and configured. The visual layout of these screens is designed in Afeer's distinctive house style, with the information displayed ranging from the training and education agenda, vacancies and house rules to news and instructional videos. Afeer also pays attention on its screens to awareness in the areas of energy consumption and health & vitality.

In addition, Afeer has the option of adding QR codes to various slides. By simply scanning the QR code, one can access, for example, the full training guide or stories on Afeer's website.

Link vPlan
Large-format screens have been installed in the production department on which clear work instructions are displayed. In addition, a link with vPlan has been realized. An order summary is retrieved for each department, so it is clear to the employees what they have to do and what is planned for the next day.

Spark Narrowcasting not only provided Afeer with advice on the dimensions of the screens, but also where they could best be placed. This ensures that the displayed information is optimally readable and accessible to both employees and visitors, thus maximizing the benefits of the deployment of Spark Narrowcasting.

"Since the beginning of 2024, we have hung a screen in every production department with Spark Narrowcasting connected to it. We want to provide the departments with important information related to production. Through a simple application we can share this information with our managers in the departments, but above all with the employees in production. In combination with vPlan (production planning), we can share our planning with the department. Employees can also track the progress of the current order. They have live insight into the orders. Besides the planning, we also show the absence figures and the turnover we have realized together. In short, it is really an enrichment for Afeer."
