DC Terra
DC Terra has chosen to deploy Spark Narrowcasting at multiple locations to efficiently keep students informed of timetable changes. Terra Support in Emmen had been using this solution for some time, and now other VO locations are joining in as well. Thanks to a smart integration with timetabling software Zermelo, the schools can improve their communication even further.

Terra and Drenthe College have merged to form DC Terra. The educational offerings of Terra and Drenthe College complement each other well and form a unique combination with wonderful opportunities. Together they will innovate, for example, on the interface of green and technology, green and care and food and circular economy. This will make them more attractive for pupils, students and as employers.
To support this growth and innovation, screens have been installed at all DC Terra's VO schools in Groningen, Friesland and Drenthe. These screens provide real-time information such as schedule changes, important announcements and general school information. In addition, multiple images can be displayed for dynamic and clear communication.
For a smooth implementation, an intake meeting was held for each location with the knowledge holders of the schedule changes, after which a customized configuration was created.
With the choice of Spark Narrowcasting, DC Terra now has a modern and efficient communication tool. Students, staff and visitors always stay well informed about timetable changes and public transportation, making daily business run smoothly.

"From the 2024-2025 school year, the use of cell phones is no longer allowed in secondary education. The challenge was to inform students about their schedule changes in an alternative way. After considering several options, supplier Spark Narrowcasting was invited for an interview. It soon became clear that they could meet our requirements. Besides timetable changes we now also show current school updates, the youth news and the indispensable culinary weekly menus of the canteen. An additional advantage is that we facilitate the task for all branches jointly. This is not only more efficient but also results in considerable cost savings. Do you have a fun idea for the screens?
