Talent Perron

Since May 2021 you will find the Talentperron on the Harm Buiterplein in Groningen. The Talentperron is a new service concept from a joint initiative between UWV and the municipality of Groningen. When setting up the Talentperron, they were looking for a way to present visuals in an attractive way that would contribute to the desired atmosphere and image. From this wish they came in contact with us. Together with Spark we chose to deploy several information kiosks with narrowcasting.

Customized "journey" through the Talent Platform

Talentperron
Talentperron is a place for people of all ages. Anyone who wants to orient themselves on the first or next steps in their career. Together with a guide from Talentperron you will discover your route to work, education or another form of participation in society. Talents and wishes are the starting point. Talentperron is a joint initiative of the municipality of Groningen and the UWV. Using a variety of tools, participants are given a customized "journey" through the Talentperron toward the next step in their careers.

The project
Talentperron uses a number of double-sided information columns of the brand diz, the columns are equipped with an interactive touch screen and a narrowcasting screen for showing inspiring videos and images depicting the atmosphere of work from different professions. Also on display are announcements of work events.

For the interactive side of the screen, a website was developed by Talentperron where visitors can use touch functionality to look up needed information. All columns have a strategic position in the Talentperron, so that visitors are inspired during their visit and can easily access required information.

In addition to narrowcasting, the Talent Platform uses a touch screen with Kiosk solution. This allows visitors to view websites. With Kiosk, a protected browser environment is offered. With it, one can only visit websites specified by Talentperron.

Together with the designer of the Talent Platform, the slide layouts for digital signage were built in the new corporate identity. The slide layouts are built in portrait position since the screens in the information columns are portrait. The advantage of this is that images of printed posters can easily be included in the playlist.
